Swept into an alternate dimension. Almost medieval. Whole team+spike-giles

I don't remember how but they all get swept through a portal in the magic box i think? Its a medieval-ish setting I think. At one point buffy tries to climb a tree to get honey but there are very scary large bees and spike flips his lid? And also saves her I think because she actually DID end up in danger. I think they get home eventually after having to blend for some amount of time but xander and cordelia end up staying behind. honestly it could be anya its been a LONG time since i've read this.

I love that one! but no unfortunately. definitely a different dimension the scooby gang were swept into. also definitely xander/cordelia or posibly xander/anya stays behind in the end (i think they get married and they stay because they like the world and the little life they made). Think scooby gang finds out its possible to travel back and forth by opening and closing a portal. I think its xander/cordelia. and i think its more of a live with the locals/blend in situation w a lot more contact than running wild has. I read this SO long ago. but the thing with the bees DEFINITELY happens.

It sounds exactly like Fairytales by sabershadowkat, except for the part about the bees.

OK that was so strange. I just read it and it was so similar but i've definitely never read it. I wonder if someone essentially plagiarized and seriously riffed off that story, or the opposite, or there was a prompt or something?

The bees remind me of Eternal_Red's "The Truce". It's unfinished but it's still an excellent read.

HAHAHAHA you were so right about the bees. guess they were in a different story than i thought. God I remember waiting for more chapters on that one and being devastated when no more came. Its SO good and interesting.
